Projecten die SEC ondersteunt, zijn projecten van algemeen maatschappelijk belang met een culturele, ideële of sociale strekking, waarbij de nadruk ligt op het ondersteunen van talentontwikkeling en vakmanschap voor beroepen binnen de relevante vakgebieden en ondersteuning van de basisstructuren in de culturele sektor. SEC stelt zich als taak aan dit streven continuiteit te verschaffen en ondersteunt individuen en/of organisaties, zowel op projectbasis als voor langere tijd.
